KALPETTA: N. Babu, 28, of Veliyambam at Kappikkunnu, near Pulpally, who was undergoing treatment for fever died on Saturday. He had been laid up with fever for a week and he was undergoing treatment at a private hospital at Sulthan Bathery. As his condition aggravated on Saturday morning, he was referred to the Medical College Hospital, Kozhikode but on the way to Medical College Hospital he died. Babu is survived by his father Velayudhan Chettiar and his mother Devaki. It is reported that this is the third death due to fever in one week in the Pulpally area.
