Air India Express service to Kuwait from July 14

Air India Express will now replace all Air India operations from Kozhikode to Kuwait.


Kozhikode: Air India Express will operate its Kozhikode-Kuwait service from July 14.

On Tuesdays and Saturdays it will operate via Sharjah, departing from Kozhikode at 7.35 p.m. and reaching Kuwait at 11.05 p.m. local time.

On the return leg, it will depart from Kuwait at 12.05 a.m. local time and reach Kozhikode at 8.45 a.m. the following day.

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays it will operate via Cochin and Sharjah, departing from Kozhikode at 6.05 p.m. to reach Kuwait at 11.05 p.m. local time.

On the return trip, it will depart from Kuwait at 12.05 a.m. and reach Kozhikode via Sharjah and Kochi at 10.10 a.m. the following day

On Thursdays and Sundays, it would operate via Mangalore and Sharjah, leaving Kozhikode at 6.05 p.m. to reach Kuwait at 11.05 p.m.

On the return journey, it will depart from Kuwait at 12.05 a.m. and reach Kozhikode via Sharjah and Mangalore at 10.10 a.m. local time.

More services

The halts at Sharjah would be only for 50 minutes. With the introduction of this service, there would be 14 flights a week to Sharjah.

Air India Express will now replace all Air India operations from Kozhikode to Kuwait.

New norms

Service on these flights would be according to Air India Express norms.

Passengers holding Air India tickets for the Kozhikode-Kuwait sector can travel on the same ticket on Air India Express.

They also have the option of endorsing their tickets for travel on another carrier or requesting for a refund of their ticket from the point of issue. of the ticket, sources said.

For further clarifications, passengers have been advised to contact Air India offices at Kozhikode.
