AIYF plans dharna

Activists of the All India Youth Federation (AIYF) will stage a dharna in front of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) demanding that medical camps be conducted in rainy season to prevent the spread of infectious fevers.

AIYF city general secretary Navaneetham Sambasiva Rao said in a press released that a dharna would staged at 10.30 a.m. on Saturday demanding that SJSRY scheme be extended to the poor in the cities. The government should provide loans to the beneficiaries who have been given vocational training under the scheme.
