3 women labourers killed

VIZIANAGARAM: Three women labourers – V. Vinod Kumari (20), A. Janaki (19) and P. Chinnammi (20) – were killed on the spot and two others were injured when the front wheel tube of the tractor in which they were returning home from a quarry burst at P. Mamidivalasa in Salur mandal on Friday and overturned on the way side. According to Vaikunta Rao, Salur rural SI, the driver of the tractor Suresh (25) and another labourer R. Satyanarayana (22) were admitted to district headquarters hospital after first aid at Salur government hospital.
