HFA team for US tourney
NEW DELHI: A junior team of the Hindustan Football Academy will take part in the Continental Cup to be held in Cleveland, the USA, from July 2 to 6.
The players, of 12-14 years age group, had a month-long training camp at the St. Columba’s school ground here. According to the manager of the team, Sane McPherson, the players had the ability to do well in the tournament.
The President of the All India Football Federation, Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, presented kits to the players before their departure to the USA. — Sports Reporter
