Lalitha super speciality hospital was started in 1990 as a Heart and Brain Center, the first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh by Dr. P.V. Raghava Sarma M.D., D.M Cardiologist, and Dr. P. Vijaya M.D., D.M Neurologist both trained in the prestigious institute, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
