AIADMK protest

CHENNAI: The AIADMK will hold demonstrations at Adhamangalamputhur in Thiruvannamalai district on July 2 to protest against “the DMK government’s failure to repair the N.C. Veeralur highway.”

In a statement, party general secretary Jayalalithaa said the 17-km highway was badly damaged and causing traffic congestion. “People from 50 villages using the highway are not able to reach any place in time.”
