Rally today

BANGALORE: Karnataka State Coalition Against ITPA will hold a public rally on Tuesday from Chiklalbagh to Mysore Bank Circle urging the Centre to drop the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act amendment process since it would affect the livelihood of poor sex-workers. It urged the Government to legalise sex work. B.T. Venkatesh, on behalf of the coalition, told presspersons here on Monday that the Centre had proposed to amend the ITPA to punish the clients of sex workers. — Staff Reporter (eom)
