Operators submit application

CHENNAI: As many as 10,000 sub Multi System Operators (MSOs) and Local Cable TV Operators (LCOs) have submitted applications to avail themselves of the services of the Arasu Cable TV Corporation across the State except in Chennai.

A release said Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi, who held discussions with the officials about the launch of the Arasu Cable TV, had advised them to speed up works to launch operations in Thanjavur on July 15. It will be launched in Coimbatore, Vellore and Tirunelveli on August 15 and in Chennai on September 15.Arasu Cable TV has already started installing Digital Head End in Thanjavur, Vellore and Tirunelveli.
