Abinaya on song

TIRUCHI: Abinaya Ramesh of Erode won the titles in the mini-cadet, cadet and women’s categories respectively in the State-level table tennis tournament, conducted by the BHEL Community Centre, here on Sunday.

The results (all finals): Women: Abinaya Ramesh (Erode) bt R. Kavya (Erode) 11-6, 6-11, 6-11, 11-8, 11-7.

Boys: Juniors: R. Gangadharan (Salem) bt S. Premkumar (Salem) 11-7, 11-5, 11-6. Sub-juniors: R. Gangadharan bt R. Athityan (Erode) 11-6, 11-4, 11-8. Mini-cadets: Jawahar (Erode) bt Aravind Raghavan (Erode) 11-6, 11-4, 11-3. Cadets: Dakshin Raj (Salem) bt Vishal (Erode) 11-7, 7-11, 6-11, 11-4, 11-5.
