Ashraful in good nick

LAHORE: Mohammad Ashraful hit his first ODI century in three years and led Bangladesh to 300 for eight against United Arab Emirates in their Asia Cup Group ‘A’ match here on Tuesday.

The Bangladesh captain struck 109 off 126 balls and hit eight boundaries before he was run out in the 44th over.

It was his first century since Bangladesh upset Australia at Cardiff in 2005, and only his second ODI hundred.
