CSA suspends bi-lateral links with ZC

Durban: Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Monday suspended its bi-lateral links with the Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) following its players’ refusal to play against the neighbouring side due to the deteriorating social environment in that country.

“In the light of the worsening situation in Zimbabwe, CSA has reviewed its position in relation to Zimbabwe Cricket,” CSA President Norman Arendse said. “We will continue to comply with the ICC’s Future Tours Programme regarding Zimbabwe. However, CSA will suspend its bi-lateral agreements with ZC.” — PTI
