Arrested

METTUR: A youth was arrested for his alleged involvement in a robbery in Mecheri here on Saturday.

The police said Shet (29) and two of his friends reportedly stabbed Sekar (33), a bar owner, and had stolen a sum of Rs. 5,820 from him. Mecheri police registered a case and arrested Shet and launched a manhunt for his friends.
