47 injured as bus overturns

PUDUKOTTAI: Forty seven passengers, including 15 women, were injured when the bus in which they were travelling overturned while negotiating a curve at Kolupatti near Mathur in the district on Sunday. The State-owned bus was on its way to Keeranur from Vennamuthupatti. The injured were admitted to Keeranur Government Hospital. Some of them were referred to Pudukottai Government Hospital. The Mathur police have registered a case.
