Jagadeesh triumphs

KOZHIKODE: A.K. Jagadeesh won the Kozhikode District senior chess championship with six points from seven rounds. Shyjith, who also scored six points, finished runner-up on account of an inferior progressive score.

Rajeev, Venu, Nirmal and Adish took places from third to six, after securing five points each. All the six players have qualified to represent Kozhikode in the State senior championship.
