TIRUVARUR: The Tiruvarur District Athletic Association will conduct the Tamil Nadu inter-district junior athletic championship from July 11 to 13 at the District Stadium, Tiruvarur. Over 2,500 athletes from various districts in the State will be participating in the three-day meet, which will be conducted in the under-20, 18, 16 and 14 age categories. Selection trialsThe Cuddalore District Cricket Association will conduct trials to select the Cuddalore teams (under-22, 19 and 16) on June 22 at Cosmopolitan Cricket Club, Cuddalore. Call E. Kootharasan at 98423 09909 for details. Cricket trialsThe Tiruchi District Cricket Association (TDCA) will conduct trials to select the team for the S.S. Rajan Trophy cricket tournament on June 22 at the National College, Tiruchi from 6.30 a.m. TDCA will also conduct trials to select the District women’s team on the same day and venue. Contact P.
