Corrections and clarifications

In the editorial “Iraq and neo-colonialism” (June 16, 2008), it is wrongly mentioned that “American voters elect a new President on November 3, 2008”. It should read “November 4, 2008”.

In a report “[Actor] Tilakan rues hostilities in [Malayalam] film industry” (Kerala, June 13, 2008, page 4), the film “Ekanatham”, referred to in paragraphs two and three, should have been “Ekantham”, meaning “loneliness/isolation”.

It is the policy of The Hindu to correct significant errors as soon as possible. Please specify the edition (place of publication), date and page.
