Five share lead

KOZHIKODE: Five players shared the lead at the end of the ninth round of the 35th National women’s ‘B’ chess championship at Hotel Sana Tower here on Thursday. Nisha Mohota, Mary Ann Gomes, Eesha Karvade, Aarthie Ramaswamy and Bhakti Kulkarni have seven points with two rounds remaining.

Following them half-a-point behind are Swati Ghate, Kruttika Nadig, Mohana Priya, Padmini Rout, Pon N. Krithika and A. Niji.
