Lok Satta seeks information on wine shops

Apology sought from TDP for encouraging belt shops

HYDERABAD: The Lok Satta Party has urged people who oppose the location of wine shops in their localities to inform it telephonically so that it could fight on their behalf.

In a press release here on Tuesday, the party urged people to call on telephone no. 040-65262324, 26262325 and 65262344 and pass on the information.

Bandaru Ramamohana Rao, organisational affairs secretary, while referring to TDP’s agitation against belt shops, said all were welcome to fight the liquor evil. He wanted the TDP to first apologise to people for having encouraged belt shops during its regime.
