Talwar’s compounder put to lie-detector test

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: The CBI on Monday conducted a polygraph test on an assistant of Rajesh Talwar, arrested by the Noida police on charges of killing his daughter Aarushi and family’s domestic help Hemraj. Krishna worked as a compounder in the clinic of the dentist couple.

The CBI had earlier questioned Mr. Krishna thrice after it took over the case and found some discrepancies in his statements. The agency put him to lie-detector test on Monday.

He was said to be close to Hemraj and used to meet him in the house when the Talwars were away. Hemraj’s relatives have told the agency that Mr. Krishna knew Hemraj well.

The bail application of Dr. Talwar was scheduled to come up for hearing in a special Ghaziabad court on Tuesday.
