Motorcyclist dies

TAMBARAM: A 22-year-old youth died when the motorcycle he was riding collided against a median on Mudichur Road in Perungalathur on Sunday.

I. Arul Raj was a resident of Gandhi Nagar, West Tambaram. He was returning to his house on the motorcycle, when he is reported to have lost control of the vehicle. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. The accident took place around 6 p.m., Tambaram traffic police said.
