Coaching camp conducted

WELL DONE: N.A. Ismail, Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer, Carriage and Wagon, Goldenrock Railway Workshop giving away a certificate to a participant in Tiruchi. —

A large number of school students participated in the third annual summer athletics coaching camp, jointly conducted by Walkers Sports Club, Tiruchi District Athletic Association and Southern Railway Institute.

The camp focussed on improving the fitness levels of the participants and specialised training was imparted after identifying their talent in a particular event.

S. Vasanthan and M. Hethayatullah Khan were the trainers for the 45-day camp.

At the valediction, Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer (carriage and wagon), GOC, N. A. Ismail gave away certificates to the participants. Former international high jumper N. Annavi and Tiruchi Sports Hostel warden P. Kalaiselvan were present on the occasion.
