“Plant tree saplings”

World Environment Day was celebrated on Thursday by the Directorate of Field Publicity at Kadachanendal here. Students of RC Middle School and members of women self-help groups participated. District Forest Officer S. Balaji, who delivered the address, urged everyone to plant tree saplings at their houses in the interest of the future generation. P. Velumurugan from the Directorate of Field Publicity and S. Agalyadevi, president of Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Social Welfare Organisation, spoke.
