Child labourers rescued

TIRUVALLUR: Fifteen children employed in various establishments in Tiruvallur and Manavala Nagar areas were rescued during a surprise raid conducted recently.

A team of officials led by District Labour Inspector U. Lakshmikanthan conducted surprise raids at hotels, shops and automobile workshops and rescued the children employed at these establishments.
