Talk show on Janamaitri at residents’ forum meet

KOCHI: Deputy City Police Commissioner T. Vikram will inaugurate the north zone convention of the Ernakulam District Residents’ Associations Apex Council to be held at Vaduthala Pallikkavu Bhajanamandiram on Sunday.

A talk show on the theme Janamaitri Police and Residents Associations and face-to-face with heads of various organisations are also being organised. Nearly 40 residents’ associations between Kacheripadi and Chittoor Ferry Road come under the north zone.

North zone president Jose Antony Pazhamppilly will preside and State president of Resident Apex Council of Kerala, Hashim Parakkadan, will deliver the introductory lecture. Kochi Corporation town planning standing committee chairman E.M. Sunil Kumar, EDRAAC secretary P.S. Bhasi and councillors Winny Abraham and Joseph Antony will speak.

EDRAAC president P. Rangadasa Prabhu will preside over the talk show. Ernakulam Town North Circle Inspector D.S. Suneesh Babu, City Traffic (West) Circle Inspector Francis Shelby, North sub-inspector Jayakrishnan and advocate C.P. Udayabhanu will participate in the talk show.

EDRAAC general secretary P.K. Gopalakrishnan will preside over the face-to-face to be held in the afternoon. Kochi Corporation Health Officer Santha, Kerala State Electricity Board executive engineer E.V. Mohandas, Kerala Water Authority assistant engineer P. Bhaskaran, former sub-registrar R. Sankaran Nair, and former tahsildar K. J. Antony will attend.
