Red Ribbon Express to arrive today

CHENNAI: The Red Ribbon Express, aimed at creating a national awareness against AIDS, will arrive at Egmore station on June 1. It will remain there for two days and leave for Chengalpattu on June 3.

The train has seven compartments. While the first three have an exhibition on AIDS prevention, the fourth is an auditorium where special programmes will be held for self-help groups and students. In the fifth compartment, free guidance will be provided. The sixth and seventh compartments host the Nehru Yuva Kendra cultural troupe, according to an official release. — Special Correspondent
