Man fatally knocked down by bus

A man said to be in his early thirties was fatally knocked down by a Metropolitan Transport Corporation bus on Kamarajar Salai on Saturday night.

According to police, the identity of the victim is yet to be known.

He was hit by a bus (6D) bound for Toll Gate when he was crossing the road near Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board office around 8 p.m.

Anna Square police are investigating .
