Rain plays spoilsport

Bangalore: Rain played spoilsport and curtailed the match between South Zone and West Zone in the SAI Inter-Regional girls hockey tournament match here on Saturday evening.

South Zone was leading 4-0 and with 19 minutes left for close, the rains intervened and forced the organisers to schedule the remaining portion of the match for Sunday. M.R. Lekha (3) and Kulsumbi scored for South Zone.

Earlier, East Zone and North Zone were locked in a 3-3 draw.
