Deer mauled by stray dogs, dies

TIRUPATTUR: A seven-year-old male deer, which strayed into a village near Tirupattur, was mauled by stray dogs on Thursday night.

It succumbed to injuries while being taken for treatment on Friday.

Forest Officials said that the deer had come from the forest area near Paraiyur.
