Hunt on for businessman

CHENNAI: Police are on the lookout for one Joseph Mathew with whom the American woman left a star hotel on TTK Road on Saturday.

According to police, the American woman, Kelly Laurel Baker, said that she had left the hotel on Saturday with Joseph Mathew, a businessman living in Anna Nagar but could not recollect what happened after that.

When she recovered on Sunday morning, she found herself on the streets of Anna Nagar and was helped by two men from a software firm in the city. She had sustained superficial bruises on her hands and legs and had no recollection of how she had sustained them, police said.
