Corporation schools to reopen on June 9

CHENNAI: All schools run by the Chennai Corporation will reopen on June 9, not on June 2, as scheduled earlier.

According to a release, the decision to postpone the reopening follows an advice, in view of summer heat, from Local Administration Minister M. K. Stalin. A total of 1,37,833 students study in the 313 Corporation schools, the release said.
