Murder mystery solved

NEW DELHI: A young man has been arrested along with his brother on the charge of killing his wife at Moti Nagar here on Monday. According to the police, Vishakha’s body was spotted by her father in the morning. During interrogation, her husband Vinod allegedly broke down and confessed to having killed her after making her consume cold drinks laced with some sedatives. He purportedly told the police that he killed Vishakha because she used to beat up his son from his first wife.

At Vinod’s instance, the police have also arrested his brother Mukesh for his alleged involvement in the murder.

Vishakha had married Vinod, a bank agent, about a year ago and both had been living in her father’s house.
