KOCHI: Schools in Ernakulam district have posted good results in the Class X examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the results of which were published on Tuesday. Most schools secured more than 95 per cent pass with several students scoring above 85 percentage. Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, won 100 distinctions; Dona Dominic topped with 97 per cent marks. Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Girinagar, won 102 distinctions with Rose Jolly topping by scoring 95.6 per cent marks. Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Eroor, won 116 distinctions; Nitin K. Mathew scored the highest marks with 98.4 per cent. Rakesh R. Kamath of Bhavan’s Adarsha Vidyalaya topped the rankings with 96.6 per cent marks. The school won 92 distinctions. Bhavan’s Varuna Vidyalaya won 60 distinctions with Arjun Ajay obtaining 95.8 per cent marks. Bhavan’s Newsprint Vidyalaya won 62 distinctions with Priscilla and Krishna Dutt topping, each scoring 95.4 per cent marks. Rajagiri Public School won 99 distinctions; Amrita Benoy topped with 97.2 per cent. Nava Nirman Public School won 51 distinctions; Aparna S. topped with 97 per cent marks. Seventy-five per cent of the students of Toc H Public School got distinction. Julu Beth Katticaran topped with 94.8 per cent. Choice School at Thripunithura won 100 distinctions; Tresy Jose topped with 95.6 per cent. Gregorian Public School at Maradu won 38 distinctions. Chinmaya School at Vaduthala won 104 distinctions; Athira topped with 96 per cent. Assisi Vidyanikethan Public School won 82 distinctions; Ankitha Kuriakose topped with 95 per cent. S.B.O.A Public School at South Chittoor won 47 distinctions; B. Sudarshan topped with 96.4 per cent. Al-Ameen Public School at Edappally won 48 distinctions; T. R. Shabna topped with 96 per cent. Mar Thoma Public School at Thengode won 36 distinctions; Jaleena Antony topped with 96 per cent marks. Cochin Public School at Trikkakara won 16 distinctions; Rizwana Parveen topped with 94.2 per cent marks. NSS School at Thripunithura won 50 distinctions; Anandu R. Krishnan topped with 95 per cent. Cochin Refineries School at Ambalamugal won 58 distinctions; Krishna Anujan topped with 96.8 per cent. Chraistava Mahilalayam Public School at Aluva won 14 distinctions; Anne Abraham topped with 97 per cent. Jama-ath Residential Public School at Padamugal won 50 per cent distinction. Talent Public School at Narakkal won 34 distinctions; Shahanas P. S. topped with 93.2 per cent. Viswajyothi CMI Public School at Angamaly won 90 distinctions; Nigel Jose topped with 96.4 per cent. Vidyadhiraja Vidyabhavan at Angamaly got 42 distinctions; Anjana N. N. topped with 98 per cent. MET Public School at Perumbavoor won 45 distinctions.
