Bank manager, guard injured; Rs.6 lakh looted
GAYA: Armed dacoits looted Rs.6 lakh from Gurua branch of Punjab National Bank in Bihar’s Gaya district after injuring its manager and a guard, the police said.
Six dacoits on motorcycles stormed the bank and fired, injuring the manager Amreshwar Prasad and the guard. They looted the money from the cash counter.
The injured were admitted to A. N. Sinha Medical College and Hospital here where their condition was stated to be serious, the sources said. Raids were being carried out at various places to arrest the robbers. - PTI
