Notification on members issued

BANGALORE: The Election Commission of India on Tuesday issued a notification mentioning the names of the members elected for 13th Karnataka Legislative Assembly. The notification issued by Tapas Kumar, Principal Secretary, Election Commission, has said elections were held in three phases on May 10, 16 and 22 for the purpose of constituting a new Legislative Assembly for the State. The officials at the Office Chief Electoral Officer here said they have submitted the notification to Governor Rameshwar Thakur on Tuesday. The Governor would submit a report along with the notification to the Union Government for revoking the President Rule in the State, according to a press release— Special Correspondent
