Children drowned

Muzaffarnagar: Three children of a family were drowned while crossing river Krishna on a makeshift bridge in the district, police said on Tuesday. Anu (7), Manisha (6) and Anuj (5) were swept away by water on Monday when they were crossing Krishna river near Dakhori village on a low hanging makeshift bridge, they said.

While Anuj’s body has been recovered, PAC has been called in to fish out the other two bodies, police said.
