Six share lead

Chennai: Six players — Shyam Nikhil, Ganesh Babu, Ajay Srikanth, R. Siddharth, R. Arun Karthik, and R. A. Pradeep Kumar — share the lead with 4.5 points from five games in the Jawahar Vidyalaya State Under-25 FIDE-Rated chess championship for the Annapragada Trophy.

Meanwhile, J. Saranya of Thiruvallur took the sole lead in the State under-25 women’s championship for the Nivarthi Trophy, which is being played simultaneously.
