VMCA, BDKSF enter final

Dharwad: Host Vasant Murdeshwar Cricket Academy (VMCA) and BDK Sports Foundation (BDKSF) entered the final of the SB Patil Trophy under-14 inter-camp cricket tournament being played at Dharwad.

In the semifinals played on Sunday, VMCA defeated Vijayanagar Cricket Academy by 57 runs while BDKSF defeated SDM Cricket Academy on better run-rate in a rain interrupted match.

The scores (semifinals):

VMCA, Dharwad 127 for seven in 20 overs (Samarth Ooty 50, Kishan three for 16) bt VCA, Hubli 70 for eight in 20 overs.

BDKSF, Hubli 147 for five in 20 overs (Akarsh 48, Kishore Kamat 43) bt SDMCA, Dharwad 106 for six in 19 overs (Poorvik 45). — Staff Correspondent
