Narrow win for Sagar CC

Bangalore: Sagar CC defeated DCA (Shimoga) by five runs in a Malenadu Twenty20 Cup cricket semifinals at Shimoga on Monday.

Sagar CC scored 145 for nine in 20 overs and restricted DCA (Shimoga) to 140 for seven in 20 overs.

The scores: Semifinals: Sagar CC 145 for nine in 20 overs (Aditya 48, Raghuveera four for 20) bt DCA (Shimoga) 140 for seven in 20 overs (Nidhish 72); PTY CC 154 in 20 overs (Naveen 43, Bhavesh five for 23) bt Diamond CC 125 for six in 20 overs (Rajat 51).
