IBM opens new centre in Pune

NEW DELHI: IBM on Monday inaugurated a new ‘Global Delivery Centre’ (GDC) in Pune that will provide business consulting and application services to its clients worldwide. Located in the Hinjewadi Information Technology Park, the Pune centre is spread over 1.8-lakh sq. ft. and will house close to 2,000 employees once fully staffed. This is the fourth site in Pune. Besides this , IBM also announced a new GDC in Cairo, Egypt. —Special Correspondent
