CHENNAI: The Chennai District Carrom Association (CDCA) and Paalam will jointly conduct the 25th district championship at the Media Hall, Nehru Stadium, here from June 3 to 5. Events will be held in open singles, non-medallist singles, women’s singles, junior boys’ singles (below-18 years) and sub-junior boys’ singles (below-14). The total prize money for the tournament, sponsored by ICMC Corporation Ltd., Elegant Publicities, Srestha Communications and Vinayaga Mission University, is Rs. 50,000. Entries close on June 1.
