FIDE-rated chess tournament

CHENNAI: The Vishy Anand Chess Academy, affiliated to the Tiruvallur District unit, will organise the Tamil Nadu State FIDE-rated chess championship from June 16 to 23 at the Hall of Chess, Nehru stadium.

Total prize money is Rs.1,00,000.

Entry fee is Rs. 500 per player and Rs.1,200 for donor.

All entries should be routed through the respective district associations on or before June 10.

The top four rankers will represent the State in the forthcoming National ‘B’ Championship to be held from Sept. 15 to 25.
