Renowned academicians will speak about career prospects in different streams

Sessions aimed at empowering students, parents to take a decision in choosing proper courses


HYDERABAD: The annual career counselling programmes for successful students of Eamcet-2008 will be organised by The Hindu Education Plus in eight centres across the State from June 2. The main sponsor of the event of T.I.M.E.

Renowned academicians will speak about career prospects in different streams of engineering, medicine, pharmacy and other allied subjects. Students and their parents can also interact with them directly to clarify their doubts on career prospects, skills required and skills to be developed by students, during the interactive sessions.

The sessions, essentially aimed at empowering the students and their parents to take a correct decision in choosing the proper courses, will be held in Visakpahatnam (June 2), Rajahmundry (June 4), Tirupati (June 7), Vijayawada (June 9), Anantapur (June 11), Nellore (June 13), Hyderabad (June 15) and Warangal (June 17).

Sessions on engineering stream would be held between 10 a.m and 1 p.m. and medical stream between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. in respective centres.

The experts would also interact with students in Kurnool, Nizamabad, Kadapa and Khammam through video conference (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) on June 19.
