Soubhagya, Azar shine

Bangalore: Soubhagya’s 92 and Azar’s four for 29 helped Anand Sweets XI defeat BPCA XI by 52 runs in a Laabh Jewellers BPCA Cup match here on Thursday.

The scores:

Seniors: Anand Sweets XI 232 for five in 30 overs (Soubhagya 92, Shreyas 45) bt BPCA XI 180 in 26.4 overs (Nadheem 49, Azar four for 29).

Under 16: Bangalore Institute of Cricket 115 in 26.2 overs (K. Vamshidhar four for 35) lost to SJIHS 117 for two in 14.3 overs (Nirmal 72).

Anand Sweets 156 for seven in 30 overs lost to SJBHS 157 for five in 24.4 overs (Prashanth 41).
