Dilip scalps five

Bangalore: Dilip Sagar bagged five wickets (five for 42) to help Modern CC defeat Jayanagar Colts by 169 runs in a KSCA Group I, second division league match here recently.

The scores: Modern CC 286 for eight in 55 overs (Syed Ibris 88, Shaid Khan 67, Salman 54, Ashok four for 47) bt Jayanagar Colts 117 in 37.1 overs (Naveen 60, Dilip Sagar five for 42).

Group I, third division: Vijaya CC 203 in 52.1 overs (Ullas 61, Harsha 48) bt Neptune CC 161 in 41.2 overs (Ramesh 61, Naveen five for 35, Krishna Kumar five for 38); City Cricketers 297 for five in 55 overs (Vaibhav 71, Yathish 63) drew with Gary Cricketers 216 for eight in 44 overs (Prashanth 43, Vaidynath 42).
