DBCC in final

Udhagamandalam: Don Bradman CC (DBCC) and ‘A’ Classic CC made it to the final in their respective divisions in the Canara Bank-NDCA cricket league here on Thursday.

Vinu struck 72 to steer DBCC to a five-wicket win over New Star CC, while Murugan scored 109 in ‘A’ Classic’s 78-run win over JSS College of Pharmacy.

The scores (semifinals):

Second division: New Star 136 in 27.3 overs lost to DBCC 141 for five in 14 overs (Vinu 72).

Third division: ‘A’ Classic 235 for eight in 35 overs (Murugan 109) bt JSS College of Pharmacy 157 in 27 overs (Karthick 43).
