Special trains to Tuticorin

CHENNAI: Southern Railway will operate a bi-weekly and weekly special trains from Chennai Egmore to Tuticorin.
The bi-weekly Tuticorin special (0615) will leave Egmore at 8.20 p.m. on Sundays and Wednesdays and reach Tuticorin at 9.30 a.m. on Mondays and Thursdays.
Train 0616 will leave Tuticorin at 2.50 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and will reach Egmore at 4.15 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The bi-weekly special train will be operated from Egmore on June 1, 4, 8, 11 and 15, and from Tuticorin on June 2, 5, 9, 12 and 16.
Weekly special
The weekly Tuticorin special (0685) will leave Egmore at 3.45 p.m. on Fridays and reach Tuticorin at 4.00 a.m. the next day. Train 0686 will leave Tuticorin at 9 p.m. on Saturdays and will reach Egmore at 10.15 a.m. the next day. The weekly specials will be operated from Egmore on June 6 and 13, and from Tuticorin on June 7 and 14, says a railway release.
Reservation will begin on Wednesday.
