Applications invited for courses

Chennai: The Communicable Diseases Hospital, Tondiarpet, has invited applications for its diploma in medical lab technician and nursing assistant courses.

The lab technician course is of two years duration. Candidates who had taken the Science stream in Class XII (Physics/Chemistry/Biology or Physics/Chemistry/Botany/Zoology or Physics/Chemistry/Laboratory Science with Botany/Zoology) may apply. Candidates must have scored minimum marks of 65 per cent (general category); 60 per cent (BC); 55 per cent (MBC) and 40 per cent (SC/ST).

The nursing assistant course (one year duration) will be offered in Tamil. Candidates with a pass in Class X may apply.

Application forms will be available at a cost of Rs. 50 at the CDH, 187, Tiruvottiyur High Road, Tondiarpet from June 2 to July 4. Last date to submit the forms is July 4.
