CHENNAI: The Union Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways invites proposals from non-governmental organisations for giving grant-in aid for administering road safety programmes for 2008-09.

Necessary applications and other guidelines are available at the District Collectorate/ Regional Transport Offices in the districts. Filled-in applications should be sent along with necessary particulars and District Collector’s recommendations to the Transport Commissioner’s office before May 23.
