VIJAYAWADA: Officials of the BSNL celebrated International Telecommunications Day at a function at BSNL Bhavan here on Saturday by organising a video display of the address by International Telecommunications Union secretary general Hamadoun I. Touré. The BSNL officials emphasised the importance of extending the benefits of information and communication technologies to the disadvantaged sections of society. The theme of this year’s celebrations was ‘Connecting persons with disabilities: ICT opportunities for all’.
